Xbox is gearing up for a big year and it's starting with an impressive lineup of discounted games on the Deals with Gold program. The selection of games consists of some of the most popular titles in Xbox One and Xbox 360, all available for good deals this week for Xbox Live Gold members.

According to a report from Game Spot, the latest Deals with Gold offers for Xbox One includes "Badland: Game of the Year Edition" for $3.96, "Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris" for $5, "Project Root" for $5, "Smite Ultimate God Pack Bundle" for $20.09, "The Deer God" for $10.04, and "Whispering Willows" for $5.

The previous generation console with discounts for Xbox 360 games such as "Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel" for $4, "Fuse" for $4, "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light" for $3.74, "Phantom Breaker: Battle Ground" for $5, "Phantom Breaker: Battle Ground Kurisu Pack" for $2.50, and "Sleeping Dogs" for $5.

A separate report from GameSpot provided more information on freebies for Xbox Live Gold members with the first of the year's free Games with Gold offers. For Xbox One, the games include "Thief," "Killer Instinct: Season One Ultra Edition" and "Zheros," while the Xbox 360 free games are "Dirt Showdown" and "Deus Ex: Human Revolution."

Microsoft also confirmed a list of exclusive titles that is set for release this year from Microsoft and first-party partners on Xbox Wire. These are expected to be shipped on Xbox One, Windows 10 and even both in certain cases.

"Cobalt" will be landing on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Steam on Feb. 2, while "Killer Instinct: Season 3" for Xbox One and Windows 10 will be launched in March and "Quantum Break" for Xbox One will land on Apr. 5.

There are a good selection of games getting released in Spring 2016 including the "Fable Legends" open beta for Xbox One and Windows 10, "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" for Windows 10, and "Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition" for Xbox One and Windows 10.

The multiplayer beta for "Gears of War" on Xbox One will be out in Spring 2016 as well, but the official launch will take place in Fall 2016. The multiplayer for "Crackdown 3" for Xbox One is also set to be out in shelves in Summer 2016 while "Halo Wars 2" for Xbox One and Windows 10 will land in Fall 2016.

Other exclusive titles set for release this year for both Xbox One and Windows 10 are "ReCore," "Sea of Thieves" and "Gigantic."
