A new teaser trailer for Season 4 of "El Señor de los Cielos," starring Rafael Amaya, has been released.

Telemundo released the teaser on Jan. 25 and posted the clip on the show's Twitter account.

The new clip promises the return of Aurelio (Amaya) and shows a series of shoot outs between members of the Mexican cartel following the possible death of Aurelio's daughter.

The series, which has been in production for the last few months, put a stop to filming last November when Amaya took time off to recuperate from stress and work. The actor was rumored to have been rushed to the hospital for a drug overdose, but, while the actor admitted to the hospital stay, he denied any drug use or addiction.

"Like any other human being, I started to get sick. I started missing work and Telemundo and I decided that we needed a break and take life back to recharge energy," Amaya told María Celeste Arrarás.

According to La Opinión, his co-star Fernanda Castillo recently defended the actor against all the rumors and praised his work ethic.

"I have never had a problem with Rafa, he is as professional person who is filming right now. He already spoke about what he needed to talk about and outside of that I am very happy."

Production encountered another obstacle with the rumors that Joshua Mintz, who serves as executive producer, was leaving his position as executive vice president and general manager at Telemundo to work at Azteca, reported TVyNovelas.

Mintz is not only part of the production team behind "El Señor de los Cielos," but also worked on "La Patrona" and "La Reina del Sur," which starred Kate del Castillo and also featured Amaya.

Regardless of the rumors, fans of the series can expect to see a lot more action and drama when Season 4 of "El Señor de los Cielos" premieres on Telemundo in April.
