Each event Apple holds is highly significant for tech lovers. The California tech giant usually hosts 2-3 major events to unveil new products - the annual iPhone press conference and and WWDC being among them. Last September, Apple introduced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and this Thursday, the rumored new lineup for Mac will be in the spotlight.

Apple's event will be held at its Cupertino headquarters in California. Mac Rumors said that Apple will debut a new 13 or 15-inch MacBook Pro that's thinner and lighter that its predecessor.

All the function keys on the keyboard will be replaced with OLED touch technology, giving it a more advanced feel. Along with this, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor is also expected. Apple has been ruling the high-end PC market for many years, and every Mac computer the company  has released have been successful.

The new MacBook Pro is going to be the star of the event with its cutting- edge specs. If rumors are to be believed, it will feature 4K display, a brand-new AMD graphics chip, and a unique keyboard with customizable keys. After 17 months, these upgrades are expected to arrive on upcoming Macs, but confirmation on the prices have yet to arrive.

The new MacBook Air is also expected to be another event highlight. Rumors claim that Apple might discontinue its 11-inch MacBook Air, since the company prefers to focus on the 12-inch variant. This device is also expected to come up with an E-ink keyboard and USB Type-C port support, but the laptop will not come with Apple's high-end sharper display, reports Bloomberg.

In terms of display, while many PC makers are focusing on 4K display, Apple seems to have other plans after it discontinued its Thunderbolt display. Now, Apple is planning to bring its 5K display for its monitors. In this event, the company might unveil its plans regarding it.

TIME also added that Apple might make some important announcements regarding its wireless earbuds, which was first unveiled during the company's iPhone 7 launch event last September. It's heavily speculated that both the MacBook Pro and Air might also feature earbuds. Furthermore, announcements regarding the rumored "iPhone 7S" might be made during the event.
