Earlier this week, news have surfaced about Prince William's dismay over his brother's public statement regarding his new girlfriend because it allegedly threatens the privacy of the royal family. Prince William is not happy with Prince Harry's unprecedented action to make a public plea to Internet trolls to stop their abuse of American actress Meghan Markle.

The news of Prince William's disapproval first came out from Daily Mail which suggested that the future king is very protective of his family's privacy, thus, believing that his brother made a mistake in offering too much information to the press.

"He feels the statement offered up too much information and only served to fuel speculation about how serious Harry is about Meghan. It could also put him in a difficult situation in the future regardless of whether the relationship leads to something or not," divulged a Palace insider of the news outlet.

This suggested that despite his love for his younger brother, Prince William believes that Prince Harry made a mistake in confirming the relationship, thus, fueled up speculations that the former disapproves of the budding royal romance. These rumors, however, were denied by Prince William himself by an official statement released on Telegraph.

The Kensington Palace issued a statement: "The Duke of Cambridge absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him."

It was further reported that the two brothers had a heart to heart conversation first before Prince Harry went to the press, considering that the Duke had quite his fair share of suffering from breached privacy. Prince William, however, believed that something had to be done as Markle had been subjected to vicious racial and gender slurs on the Internet.

"The Duke was alarmed as anyone about what was happening with Meghan. No one wanted to have to put that statement out, including Prince Harry, and there was concern about confirming the relationship. But over the course of one weekend, things escalated to the extent that Prince Harry felt he had to act," said another insider of the source media.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had been secretly dating since June but the royal relationship was just confirmed on the prince's November 8 statement regarding the Internet and media abuse directed to his girlfriend.
