Manny Pacquiao is set to fight Amir Khan on April 23, 2017 and it looks like the bout will be held in the United Arab Emirates as Pacman revealed before. Amir Khan's promoter, Golden Boy Promotions, has not officially confirmed the event but the two fighters said that they have agreed to the fight's terms. Amir was Manny's sparring partner when he was still under Freddie Roach. He may take his knowledge of Pacquiao's moves to his advantage now that they are set to fight for real.

Manny Pacquiao posted on Twitter that his team and Amir Khan's have agreed to the terms of the April 23 fight, ESPN reported. The tweet also said that this fight was what fans wanted. Amir Khan replied to Manny's tweet saying that he has agreed and even called the event a "Super Fight."

Manny Pacquiao is fresh from a win over Jesse Vargas in November. The Philippine senator has a large fan base all over the world that has created a poll over Twitter on who will he fight next. Khan was actually the leading choice for Manny's next opponent while Australian Jeff Horn is second and American Terence Crawford is third, ABC reported.

Amir Khan on the other hand has never fought since he moved up to middleweight to fight Canelo Alvarez in May 2016. Canelo knocked out Khan. The 30-year old fighter has been trying to land a fight with Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather. Reports say that he might use his knowledge of Manny's moves to get the upper hand on the ring. But of course a fight against the WBO world welterweight champ could also boost his career and take him to more prominent fights it he wins.

Manny Pacquiao said in an interview that he wants his next fight to be in the UAE however the venue for his match against Khan is yet to be announced.
