The fans cheer as the San Francisco 49ers score their first touchdown during the NFL game against the Arizona Cardinals at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico. The Cardinals won 31-14.

But, it seems like Apple wants to have its own rights to the popular Sunday Ticket Games. According to 9To5Mac's latest report, the giant iPhone maker is currently in talks with NFL to make this a possibility.

This rumor was already revealed back in January. The out-of-market NFL package is currently offered through DirecTV, but the provider gives up its rights after the 2022 season.

Now, many critics claim that AppleTV+ will be a good fit when it comes to offering NLF Sunday Ticket Games. However, some analysts believe Amazon and Apple will not get the Sunday Ticket rights. However, Apple is not considered the best potential bidder for getting NFL Sunday Ticket Games. Some experts claimed that it is now changing.

As of the moment, it is still unclear how Apple plans to get the most-awaited Sunday Ticker rights from NFL. In DirecTV's case, the company is paying NFL around $1.5 billion every year to live stream sports matches.

However, this could get more expensive since NFL confirmed it will charge more for the next buyer. On the other hand, DirecTV also announced that it is losing money on its time holding the rights to Sunday Ticket. The company's current loss is around $2.5 billion.

This means that there's a high chance that DirecTV will let go of NLF Sunday Ticket live streaming. If this happens, then Apple could take its place. Meanwhile, Mac Rumors reported that once Apple acquires the rights to NLF's Sunday Ticket service, it could widen the audience of AppleTV+.

Aside from this, some rumors claimed that NFL Sunday Ticket would be an add-on to the regular $4.99/month Apple TV+ cost. However, the exact price is not stated yet.
