Just one day after Angelique Boyer's mother died, the 25-year-old actress talked to reporters and expressed her grief.

While she barely managed to hold in the tears, Boyer thanked reporters for keeping their distance, though she was upset that the news of her mother's sickness was ever reported. Now she has taken to Twitter to write a touching message about her mom.

"It's the biggest blow that I've ever taken," Boyer wrote on Twitter. "I miss her more than I ever thought I could. Even though I want to say goodbye, I can't."

The "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" star then said that she doesn't know if there's something after death. She doesn't know if her mom is alive in another form other than in her and her family's hearts, she said.

Boyer said she doesn't know if her mother could see them, but she knows it's not something she thought about before. Now, it seems to be something she can't get out of her head.

"Now I wish with all my being that she could be here with us to see us grow, my brother and me," she said. "To continue the great love that she had for us for 33 years and to see how we get ahead in our lives, with her love always being present."

Boyer then explained that she saw her mother die. She described her mother as the strongest woman that she's known. She said that she has never seen anyone in books, movies or in life that could compare to her mother.

"She was my mom," she said. "There will never be enough words to express the pain that the loss of someone so important in my life has brought me. I want to see you happy again, mom. I miss you."

The accompanying message with the statement thanked fans for their support, love and respect.
