For many hardcore gamers, the decision between buying the Xbox One and the PS4 is simple: buy both. The rest of us, however, are more likely to just choose one. As the PS4 looks awfully impressive judging from what Sony has revealed thus far, let's take a look at some of the latest news for this next gen console.

Sony came out with a bang when they introduced the world to the PS4 for the first time at E3 this summer. With its sleek look and powerful performance, fans were immediately buzzing about the new console.

"From a marketing standpoint, Sony's late summer information dump at the conference should prove timely, providing their new gaming system with a big boost in the sorely needed excitement and anticipation departments," observes the Washington Times.

Not only that, but Sony was able to offer up the PS4 for a $100 cheaper than the Xbox One ($399 vs. $499). All of this has led to the PS4's run away popularity at the moment, leading to over one million preorders of the console ahead of its November 15th release.

There has also been some other new info to come out this week regarding some of the finer functions of the device. Sony's president has been busy answer customer questions on Twitter, and we've become privvy to a few more interesting tidbit about the PS4.

"Sony President Shuhei Yoshida has just confirmed that Playstation 4 gamers won't be able to stream game on to PS VITA while Netflix is running. In addition to this, Shuhei Yoshida also confirmed that there won't be any need to install disc games onto the HDD in order to play them," reports GamePur.
