Sebastián Rulli and Angelique Boyer first met four years ago on the set of "Teresa." Since then, fans have been under the impression that their relationship extended into real life, but in a new interview with the couple, Boyer said that the chemistry that first existed between the two was just for work, Univision reports.

When Boyer was asked about the one moment when she realized that she fell for Rulli, she said that she wouldn't explain too much about it.

"We were on FaceTime, and he was in Spain, and I was in France and I realized that I wanted to be with him all the time," she said.

The two said they were dating for a little more than a month.

The media reported that the two were in a relationship because they were spending a lot of time off set together, but Boyer said that it was just a natural thing for the two.

Rulli and Boyer also addressed rumors that Boyer ended her relationship with Jose Alberto Castro earlier this year because of Rulli.

"I'd rather not talk about it because then the focus shifts onto someone else, who holds no importance," Boyer said about the rumor. "I feel more woman than ever, and I am responsible for all my actions. And whatever people say won't interfere with my personal life."

Boyer said that her favorite things about Rulli is that he is super romantic, disciplined and positive. She also called him an excellent friend.

Rulli also answered the same question about Boyer.

"She's a good person, passionate like me," he said. "We have lots of things in common. She's bold. She's brave. What I like most about her I'm going to keep to myself."

Boyer also opened up about the death of her mother. She explained that being on "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" made it difficult for her to be with her mom and dad in difficult moments. She was also not able to mourn normally.

"I've lost the two most important women in my life in the last four months," she said with tears in her eyes.

Rulli has helped her move forward, and she said she has never been so happy or in love.
