During some downtime from recording his show, "Tierra de Reyes," Aaron Diaz recorded videos of himself killing time while riding around in a wheelchair.

The actor posted two videos of himself on Instagram in the wheelchair.

In the first video he said, "I don't know about you but I don't know any better plans than being in the rain on location in one of these toys on a Friday night."

In the second video, he just laughs as he uses the wheelchair to go back and forth.

One user, soniadsk, was disappointed in what Diaz said.

"It may seem like a toy for you but it's not for others..." the Instagram commenter said. "You distract yourself on a rainy Friday night; others have to use it everyday of their lives, rain, wind or shine."

Another person on Instagram, shesuraruns, said that Diaz's choice of words were perhaps not the best.

"What is a toy for you is a lifestyle for other, a vehicle," the commenter said. "It can even becomes a source of bitterness and sadness for many!"

One person who was in a wheelchair commented to the video, according to TV y Novelas. The person said they didn't think the video was humorous.

The videos have not been removed, and Diaz has not offered any explanation of apologies for his comments.

Instead, he has posted more pictures from "Tierra de Reyes." One of the images he posted features a man falling off a horse, so perhaps the wheelchair will be part of the show.

According to Telemundo, the show, which premieres on Dec. 2, will deal with immigration and women's rights. Diaz will be starring with Ana Lorena Sanchez.

"It's a clear image of this generation of youth who are in the United States," Sanchez said. "We are bilingual, multicultural and this feeling is something that many can identify with."
