Two character actors and comedians are sharing their point of view once more with their fans -- in the form of a comic book and a memoir.

The popular TV host and comedian Stephen Colbert of "The Colbert Report" has his own comic book. Eddie Izzard, the British comedian and actor, is set to write his memoir.

Colbert's comic book, starring himself, will include his life and political views and ideas about American society, while Izzard's memoir is expected to include both his comedy tours and performances.

Colbert is the star of his own comic book, which is out now. "Political Power: Stephen Colbert" is the title of Colbert's biographical comic book. Hal Hilden wrote the story and Kelly Brine created the artwork. Hilden has approached the writing of Colbert's 22-page comic book biography with fun in mind.

"The goal was to write a fun little biography, mixing fact with fiction, that hopefully one of Stephen Colbert's many personas would enjoy reading," Hilden said.

Brine added a similar sentiment about how the biography should read.

"Stephen Colbert's brand of satire and interviews have entertained and enlightened my family and me for a decade. These drawings are my thank you for the smiles and laughter given to us by our favorite Renaissance man," Brine said, according to Paste Magazine

Bluewater Productions has published Colbert's biography. Bluewater is used to printing comic book biographies like Colbert's. The "Political Powers" series explores events that shaped the personalities it covers, and it is told behind the rise of politicians, Paste Magazine reported.

Past issues have featured politicians and personalities, such as former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, world leader Nelson Mandela, politician and Senator Ted Kennedy, as well as Jon Stewart.

While Colbert -- comedian, actor, TV host and soon-to-be "Late Show" host -- might not be a politician, he, like Stewart, has had a significant impact and influence on the American political system.

Eddie Izzard, another comedic icon, is going to write his memoir.

The British comedian and character actor has garnered a book deal with Blue Rider Press, an imprint of Penguin Group (USA), with executive editor Sarah Hochman, who will manage the process for the memoir.

Izzard acts, writes and does a lot of comedy tours. It is his versatility, especially with his comedic tours, that has gained him swarms of fans from around the world, SFGate.com reported. This includes Hochman, who is enamored by Izzard's work.

"Eddie Izzard's brilliant, and brilliantly funny, narrative style lends itself perfectly to the printed page," Hochman said about the book deal.

Izzard's memoir is expected to detail his career from London street performer to his work onstage, and in Hollywood. Izzard has had a vibrant TV and movie career from appearing in films such as "Ocean's Thirteen," "Ocean's Twelve" and "Valkyrie," just to name a few. And in TV, he guest-starred in "The Good Wife" and has been on the short-lived TV series "The Riches."

Remarkably, on the 70th anniversary of D-Day, Izzard, 52, performed his "Force Majeure" show three times within three hours. But he did it in three different languages: English, French and German, SFGate.com reported.

Izzard's memoir does not have scheduled publication date as yet, but it might be out by either winter 2015 or 2016.
