Martina "Tini" Stoessel has a lot in common with Miley Cyrus.

Both got their start with Disney at a young age, and both are interested in music. But for Tini, 17, who starred in "Violetta," changing her image is not something she thinks she needs to do, according to La Nación.

"I don't see myself making a tremendous change," she said. "Being bad doesn't work with me. ... I think Miley is very talented. I have nothing bad to say about her, but I won't be going down that route."

Tini also told parents they don't have to worry about her changing her image.

She doesn't think she needs to separate herself from her character, Violetta. She has no pressure to shed her good girl image, and she believes people will naturally stop associating her with the character. But she knows that those who grew up with the show will have a connection to her character, which is something that happened to her with "Patito Feo."

"I don't need to be Violetta's enemy. ... On the contrary, I am who I am thanks to her."

Tini said she has already tried to make people see there's someone behind Violetta. Her book, "Simplemente Tini," has helped people see she exists too.

The singer added social media also helps people see who she is and helps her get closer to her fans.

"It happens to me with Beyonce," she said. "I see that she's a mine that also gets tired. She cries like any other person, she gets frustrated, and she goes out on stage in spite of everything."

Though she is looking to the future, she doesn't feel that "Violetta" is truly over. The show finished filming recently, but the final episodes haven't aired yet. And she still has a tour and a documentary to take part in.
