The first season of "Married at First Sight" ended with two couples staying together and one breaking up. And now those who decided to remain a couple after marrying right after meeting are taking part in the spinoff, "Married at First Sight: The First Year."

According to the International Business Times, there have been a few clips released to tease the new show, which begins on Jan. 13.

The first clip starts off looking into Jason and Cortney's relationship.

Jason is in a car when he is asked if he really loves his wife. Jason explains that he does.

The next scene shows a potentially problematic part of the couple's relationship.

"I'm being, like, nicely let go from my job," Cortney said to a friend. "I haven't told Jason about the whole work thing yet."

Cortney says her husband is in the academy and that her losing her job is "the last thing" they need. She is certain, when he finds out what is happening at work, it will hurt their relationship.

Jamie and Doug are also dealing with relationship issues. The two of them are not on the same page. While Jamie is ready to have children, Doug believes it's not the right choice for them.

"I don't think that bringing a child into our lives would really help the relationship at all," he said.

Another clip features a sweeter side to Jason and Cortney. The two are thinking about all they have been through together in a short period of time. Jason holds Cortney by the waist, as she agrees that couples who have been together even 15 years haven't faced the issues they have.

"I'm still very lucky and blessed and thankful every day that you're in my life," she said.

When Cortney shoots her confessional video, she admits she still hasn't talked to Jason about her job situation. She explains she rarely gets to spend time with him, and she doesn't want to ruin the time they do have together with bad news.
