"Scream Queens" is an upcoming horror comedy show on Fox that will be featuring both actors and music artists. Even though only very little has been confirmed about what the show's first season is going to be about, fans are getting increasingly excited in anticipation for the show's premiere.

Luckily for the show's fans, Entertainment Tonight managed to get an exclusive look at the show's New Orleans set last week. The show's stars, "Love Me Harder" singer Ariana Grande and "Glee" star Lea Michele, were present and they were more than glad to lend some of their time for an exclusive interview.

However, it looks like fans who expect their favorite singers to belt out a few tunes will be disappointed. According to Unreality TV, there will be no singing for the cast.

"Not with me!" revealed Michele, who plays the headgear-wearing Hester. "We have got everything. We have got gore. We have got killers. We have got comedy. I think we are good."

It seems as though Ryan Murphy will not be giving the show a "Glee"-like tone, as some of the fans initially hoped. Still, Grande promised that fans have a lot to look forward to when "Scream Queens" finally premieres. According to her description, the show is "the greatest combination" since it is "a very nice balance between terrifying, scary, macabre, goth horror, and girly, hilarious, glamorous fashion."

Although Michele and Grande are two powerhouse females, the cast will reportedly be led by Emma Roberts. According to Hollywood Life, she did not hesitate to accept the offer when Murphy described the show as "Heather meets Halloween."

As the lead actress, she will be portraying the role of Chanel, the president of Kappa Sorority.

Murphy revealed that the part was actually "written" for Roberts. The character that takes over the entire school. "Chanel's very funny and very ruthless," Murphy shared. "All her life, all she has wanted to do is be president of Kappa and have this great boyfriend and rule the roost."

"I had just come off doing 'American Horror Story: Coven,' which was my favorite season of the show," Roberts admitted to Entertainment Weekly. "So fun to be a part of. 'Scream Queens' definitely has a little bit of that 'Coven' girl power vibe - which I love - and a lot of the humor that 'Coven' had."
