Xbox One users are in for a treat. Reports have come out that the upcoming title from DICE, "Star Wars Battlefront," will be available first to the current generation console from Microsoft ahead of its release date in November.

Ever since the game was unveiled at the E3 event in June, many players have been eager to get their hands on the upcoming title. But players who are using Xbox One need not wait for the release date as it has been confirmed that the title will be exclusively available first to the current generation console from Microsoft. That is, if the player is a member of the EA Access subscription service.

Xbox chief Phil Spencer confirmed on the social networking site Twitter that EA Access members with Xbox One consoles will be able to play the game on the subscription service.

"@MJC3809 @majornelson @EAAccess @XboxQwik @DMC_Ryan yes you can play SW: Battlefront first on Xbox One, exclusively with @EAAccess," posted Spencer.

His comment was in response to fans who asked him whether the game will be part of the subscription service's list of titles.

EA Access was launched in August 2014 to give the players of Electronic Arts' titles a chance to enjoy their games. It was made exclusively for the Xbox One, reported Game Rant, but plans to expand the service to other consoles are also in the works for the subscription service.

For Xbox One users with EA Access, gamers will be able to check and play the game five days before its release date to other consoles. Aside from this perk, members who subscribe to the membership will be able to play EA titles on the service's library for an unlimited time, noted Game Informer.

Those who prefer to buy their own digital copies of the games will also be able to purchase the titles with a 10 percent discount.

The EA Access is available for Xbox One for a $4.99 monthly rate or an annual fee of $29.99.

Meanwhile, PlayStation users will have to wait until November 17 to get their hands on "Star Wars Battlefront" as the EA Access service is not available on the Sony console.

In 2014, Sony told Game Informer that it has decided to decline having EA Access to the PS4 console because "it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect."

"Star Wars Battlefront" will be available to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 17.
