The new Marvel series coming to Netflix is "Jessica Jones."

According to Deadline, the series just released its first trailer for the show as well as the premiere date.

Following the successful release of "Daredevil, which has already been given a second season order, this will mark the second of four total series that are being developed for the streaming buffet platform.

"Jones" will feature Krysten Ritter in the lead role as the title character and the show will focus on the comic series character that was once a super hero, but lost her way after a tragedy ended that prospect in her life.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jones will be returning from her downfall not as a superhero, but rather as a detective alongside Luke Cage (Mike Colter). The two have a romance that buds, but lacks the ambition necessary to make anything real of it.

Coulter will be reprising the role in his own series "Luke Cage," which will be the third release for Marvel on the streaming platform. Although the universes are obviously interconnected, there has been no word yet as to whether Ritter will be playing Jones on "Luke Cage," but it certainly seems likely.

The trailer is full of impressionistic images that give clues and hints at what "Jessica Jones" is going to be about. Although there are no real scenes from the series in the trailer, it did feature key points that fans of her comic books would be able to identify with right away, such as the sign on the door that read "Alias Investigations."

The trailer also released the official date the series would be available on Netflix, which is Nov. 20 of this year. That will actually be effective at 12:01 a.m. PST that day.
