Selena Gomez made the confession that her beautiful dark long flowing tresses are "very fake."

The 23-year-old singer recently appeared on YouTuber Lilly Singh's channel and admitted her hair is anything but real, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Singh, also known as IISuperwomanII, and Gomez take part in "The Newly Friend Game" after just meeting for the first time. Both girls answer the same questions during the game and have to guess what the other person is writing down. Some of the questions include "What's your favorite Taylor Swift song?" and "What's the worst rumour you've heard about yourself?" Gomez admits her two favorite Swift songs are "Wildest Dreams" and "Bad Blood."

Near the end of the video the pair confirm Singh's hair is not fake, as Selena tugs on it to double check, and referring to her own hair laughs and says, "Mine, however, is very fake."

Besides revealing her hair is fake, Gomez has been outspoken about a lot of other facets of her life lately, such as moving on from ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and how she's been dealing with her health struggles.

Gomez released her second solo studio album, "Revival," on Friday, Oct. 9. So far the two singles produced from the album include "Good for You" and "Same Old Love." Although these are the two songs that reached single status, the singer explained why her favorite track on the album is "Kill Em With Kindness."

"That's just always been what my mom embedded in me," she says.

"You have to wake up with yourself every morning and people are going to give you their worst, and it's so easy to be mean. I'm Latin, I can be mean really fast if I want. But I just don't feel good about myself. I think people need to hear a message like this."

"Revival" is the follow-up album to her debut "Stars Dance," which was released in July 2013. This album produced the two singles "Come & Get It" and "Slow Down."
