The Hell in a Cell pay-per-view is just days away. Here are the hottest rumors regarding the U.S. Champion John Cena's Open Challenge, NXT star Tyler Breeze, injury news on Randy Orton and more.

John Cena to Defend U.S. Title at HIAC

The 15-time U.S. Open Challenge has been the best thing going on Raw for most of the year, but with the news of Cena taking some time off after Hell in Cell, he would likely drop his U.S. Title, per Bleacher Report.

It was rumored earlier in the month that Dolph Ziggler would be the one to face Cena at Hell in a Cell as reported by Inquisitr but has now been added to the Six-Man Tag Match at the same event. According to Bleacher Report, Dean Ambrose is another superstar that has the possibility to challenge for the U.S. Title as his match against Luke Harper and Braun Strowman is out the window with the news of Randy Orton's injury.

In a separate report by Inquisitr, former WWE World Champion Daniel Bryan could make his return at the event as he is a guy that can make the title relevant in Cena's absence. There are still no updates if WWE has cleared him to wrestle, but he recently had a meeting with Vince McMahon and Triple H.

Tyler Breeze Main Roster Debut

"Prince Pretty" has been rumored to be making his debut on the main roster as F4WOnline reported that he is a week or two away from the bigger stage. He could answer the U.S. Open Challenge as a big way to introduce him to a wider audience.

In a breaking news report by WWE.com, Breeze already made his main roster debut at the SmackDown television taping at Austin, Texas, which will be aired this Friday on SyFy. According to Wrestling Inc, he came out during the Miz TV segment where Summer Rae introduced him as her new guy before attacking Dolph Ziggler.

Randy Orton Injury

As mentioned earlier, Randy Orton has an injury and F4WOnline reports, via Wrestling Inc., that the "Apex Predator" is set to have an MRI to know if he will need shoulder surgery. Orton has been working with the injury and it got worse as he dislocated it this past week, causing him to miss the WWE Mexico tour and Monday Night Raw this week.

Rusev in the Doghouse

The Wrestling News Observer, via Wrestle Zone, reported that Vince McMahon was upset with Rusev when his real-life engagement with Lana went public. He was rumored to be in the doghouse as he was quickly squashed in three minutes by Ryback last week on Raw but was part of the winning team this week during the six-man tag match, per Bleacher Report.
