“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” producer Charles Roven has hinted that a new trailer for the hotly anticipated film may be coming soon.

A three-minute trailer was already unveiled for film earlier this year, and that clip brought a number of plot points to the fore. However, the film is still months away, and fans are eager to get another look at the upcoming DC Comics film. Roven hinted they may not have to wait long.

"I don’t know how you define soon but certainly before the end of the year, how about that?" he said during an interview with Collider.

There has also been speculation that there might be an extended cut of the movie, given the gargantuan cast of superheroes set to make appearances and debuts in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Roven did not shy away from these rumors, and he hinted that fans could get treated to a longer cut of the movie. He did, however, temper expectations regarding the length.

"I don’t know if you’ll ever get the 4-hour version," he said, before noting that the extended version "might be slightly less long than that."

He also noted that, despite the massive cast, he expected the film would focus mainly on the two eponymous characters.

“I think that the film is called ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' so there’s a reason it’s called ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and now ‘Dawn of Justice: Batman v Superman,’” he added.

The hotly anticipated film, which stars Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman, will hit theaters on March 25, 2016. The film will also star Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. Zack Snyder is the film’s director.
