Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are intent on keeping life normal for their three young children, despite all the chaos surrounding them.

E! Online reports the estranged couple is planning to spend the upcoming holidays together, along with daughters Violet, 9 and Seraphina 6, and son Samuel, 2.

"They are a unit," a source said of the 43-year-olds who filed for divorce earlier this summer. "They are all about the kids and making sure they are okay. They are committed to parenting together."

Reports are the family will be spending time with both sides of the family as one unit. Both Affleck and Jenner are committed to putting their personal differences aside for the sake of the family.

Earlier this summer, reports surfaced Affleck had become romantically involved with his children's nanny, Christine Ouzounian. Not long after that, the two announced they were pulling the plug on their 10-year union.

"There was a lot of tension between them for a while, but it wasn't all about the nanny," a source recently told E! News. "It's never easy for a couple going through a split."

Recently, Affleck has been traveling back and forth to Georgia working on filming, but whenever he has returned to California, Garner has had an assortment of outings planned out for the entire family.

"There are still a lot of issues, but she has put them aside for the sake of her family," a source added. "Jen's number one priority is the kids and always has been...When they [she and Affleck] spend time together, it is for the kids."

Earlier this month, all five visited Duff's Cake Mix together, where they decorated cakes together.

Meanwhile, Affleck has continued to deny ever being intimately involved with Ouzounian, and recent reports are he changed his cell phone number to prevent her from contacting him.
