Every Sunday on AMC, fans of "The Walking Dead" crowd around their TV sets and cringe in anticipation, as if they were watching live news. They want to know if their loved ones have survived something that has went horribly wrong. But in this case, their loved ones come in the form of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun).

According to an interview on The Hollywood Reporter, there is one thing that fans can rest assured of -- Daryl lives. Now some might say that there is no way of telling that for sure based on his answers to many questions, but just follow along closely here.

Everyone has already heard about Reedus's answers to many lingering questions from the show, which mostly involves the fate of Glenn Rhee. That spoiler has been beat to death by now and there really is nothing more to say about that other than "watch the show."

Okay, so after talking about his potential to have a love interest on the show, which he said that he sees it in his future considering all the other different romances taking place, there was some talk about the final two episodes before the mid-season finale.

"You ain't seen nothing yet," Reedus told THR. "There are no slow episodes left; it's 100 miles an hour from here on in."

That certainly is indicative that the show is gaining momentum in the storylines for Season 6. But there is a more direct quote from him about where the mid-season finale will leave the characters.

"There's a lot of sh*t coming down," Reedus said. "I'm completely blown away by the caliber of what we're doing right now. I left set [the other night shooting the season finale] at 7 a.m. and talked to Andy on the phone for the entire drive. We're overly excited; it's so good."

The main reason that fans can be assured of his survival is why else would he be excited about this finale if he weren't going to be coming back? Of course, Reedus is well-known to have his own brand of humility and to not let things bother him, but phrasing his response that way means that he is excited to be a part of something after the finale.
