"Spin City" actor Charlie Sheen's former fiancée Brett Rossi, also known as Scottine Ross, files assault, battery and other charges against him.

Rossi, who was engaged to the Sheen, included emotional distress, false imprisonment and negligence in her filing, People reported, citing legal documents procured by the site.

Rossi filed just two weeks after the 50-year-old actor revealed on Today that he was positive for the HIV retrovirus, which lead to AIDS or the acquired immune deficiency syndrome.

HIV or the human immunodeficiency virus makes the immune system weak and unable to combat infections and other diseases, per Avert.org. The disease is said take 10 to 15 years to fully develop and by that time, it may have damaged severely the body's natural defense.

The 26-year-old lady claimed that the TV celebrity did not disclose his medical condition when they initially met and shared a bed.

"If Sheen had disclosed to Plaintiff that he was HIV positive when they met for the very first time, Plaintiff would never have engaged in sex with him, and the resulting relationship between the two would never have occurred," per what's written in the suit.

Rossi claims that she got an abortion because of Sheen in March 2014, despite opposing to it.

The "Two and a Half Men" actor even cut ties with her through a text message and gave her "insulting and demeaning text messages" afterward. She reportedly attempted suicide through drug overdose because of the breakup.

The lawsuit noted that Rossi realized Sheen really had no intention of marrying her. She was only made to fall for him and believe that they will be a couple forever.

"In turn, allowed Plaintiff to be manipulated into agreeing to engage in unprotected sexual intercourse with Sheen, despite knowing he was HIV-positive," the suit states.

Sheen's lawyer Martin D. Singer denies what Rossi alleged in her suit.

"Charlie Sheen intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit filed by Scottine Ross. We are confident that Mr. Sheen will prevail in this action and will prevail on his claims for affirmative relief against her," Singer stated.

On Today, the New York City-born celebrity told Matt Lauer that he really had a difficult time accepting he has HIV.

"It's a hard three letters to absorb. It's a turning point in one's life," Sheen said.

He decided to let the public know about his current situation because he also wanted to be free of this "prison" he was in.

He shared that he was betrayed by the people he considered as friends. These people whom he opened up about the matter were the ones who took advantage of him for money, amounting to about $10 million.
