The Department of Homeland Security has prohibited charter flights from landing in the U.S. The said flight was carrying more than 100 Americans, U.S. green card holders, and evacuees from Afghanistan.
Taliban authorities have agreed to let 200 American civilians and third-country nationals, who were stuck in Afghanistan, to leave via charter flights from the Kabul airport, a U.S. official said.
