Jared Leto fails to recognize Taylor Swift's voice when he was recently asked to listen to a few of her songs. The singer/actor also said that she couldn't care less about Swift except for her music.

In a video below shared by TMZ, Leto could be seen intently listening to some of the hitmaker's music. Leto was asked to give his opinion about Swift's songs from her "1989" album, as he listened to "Welcome to New York," "Blank Space" and "Style."

The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman point-blank said he doesn't like "Welcome to New York." However, he admitted that he actually likes "Blank Space" when it was played next. Leto also mistakes the lyrics of her song, which says "Star-crossed lovers," to "Starbucks lovers."

In the same video, Leto makes a guess as to who the singer is, to which he says Charlie XCX. His friend could be heard trying his best to introduce Swift to the singer.

"She just like stole it from her (Charlie XCX) and crushed it," his friend is heard saying in the background.

Leto continues to praise "Blank Space," saying that "it is good, I wanna steal that." His friend plays "Style" next. The actor's face lit up upon hearing the song but then merely calls it "interesting little pop song."

His friend then says something that made Leto react negatively. He could be heard in the video saying, "I mean f**k her. I don't give a f**k about her. It's about whatever works best for us."

It's uncertain what the guys were doing listening to Swifts songs. According to TMZ, it seemed they were finding some inspiration for a new music and his friend thought she would be a good example.

According to Hollywood Life, it would be a good idea to take some queues from Swift. After all, she was just recently nominated for seven Grammys.

The video has since gone viral. Before it gets blown out of proportion, however, Leto released an apology to Swift and her fans on his Twitter page.

He didn't mention what his apology is for. It is clear though that he is responding to his comments about the singer, as seen in the video from TMZ.

The video was reportedly taken two months ago and has just surfaced now. TMZ said it was taken when Leto and his band, 30 Seconds to Mars, were at their studio in Los Angeles.
