Famed comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are taking Hollywood by storm as they prepare for the premiere of their newest comedy flick "Sisters" on Friday and their comeback in hosting "Saturday Night Live" with Kenan Thompson this week.

Fey and Poehler, known to be good friends on-screen and off-screen, are highly anticipated as they make good chemistry together. In a recent interview with Ellen De Generes on her show "Ellen," Fey even revealed some of her funny ideas for the "SNL" special with Poehler.

"Maybe we will play Ted Cruz's ears," Fey suggested as quoted by EW. "'How's it going over there?' 'It's good! I can see straight through!'" she added. Meanwhile, the 45-year-old actress also revealed some interesting details about her flick with Poehler.

"It's fun, because we don't really get to jack our business up and out," Fey said about a scene in where she and Poehler's characters were trying on party dresses for their big party. "I don't live like Sofia Vergara," Fey joked afterwards.

According to the New York Daily News, the much-awaited comedy flick, which is scheduled to be in theaters this week, is said to be about Fey who plays a single mother named Kate and her control-freak divorced sister Maura (Poehler).

The two reunite after living their separate lives in their parents' home back in Florida since the house was about to be sold. When the sisters went out for a trip of a lifetime, looking back in their old rooms and their diaries, showing how reserved Maura was and Kate's relationship with different guys, this time, the two switch positions.

The news outlet revealed that Maura would be the one having so much fun while Kate would be sober enough to control the crazy situation while hosting the party of a lifetime.

Of course, parties in the past are different as to how they are being held these days, and the two character won't be ready for how wild it will be in the movie. Meanwhile, Time reports that the upcoming "SNL" episode marks the show's 40th anniversary. Fans expect it to be extravagant and filled with other special guests besides Fey and Poehler.

"Sisters" will be out in theaters this Friday.
