If there's one thing video games can rely on when it comes to advertisement is the sweet, tempting reviews of video game analysts, but this time around predictions dominate the chart as renowned video game analyst Michael Pachter said, the "Battlefield 5" will beat "Call of Duty" in 2016.

According to the BF4Central, Pachter made the bold prediction on his PachterFactor Show on Youtube. In his statement, he said "If ever there was a year where somebody could knock "Call of Duty" off the top, it's this coming year. I encourage EA to take advantage of the opportunity with 'Battlefield 5' if only DICE can get multiplayer right."

While EA has launched several great games, it's Activision's "Call of Duty" that tops the chart every time. This time however, Pachter thinks that the upcoming "Battlefield 5" will finally topple Call of Duty's reign on the charts.

EA has already announced the coming of Battlefied 5 in 2016 and so far, Activision has not made an official statement regarding the next "Call of Duty" series.

DICE, the developer of "Battlefield 4" is expected to redeem itself after it made a gaffe on "Battlefield 4" during its initial release. Apparently, the game suffered some crash issues that literally plagued the smooth launching of the game.

Despite the prediction, Attack of the Fan Boy thinks that the Call of Duty series will be hard to beat. With the emergence of "Fallout 4" and "Star Wars: Battlefield," Call of Duty: Black Ops III still dominated this year's video game sales.

If EA is quick on their feet and produce a convincing and excellent Battlefield series, the year 2016 may eventually be their year to shine. While fans may have second thoughts on the ability of Battlefield 5 to be a smooth sailing game, DICE has yet to prove them by providing a game that has less if none at all glitches upon launching.

In a recent report by the Latin Post, DICE is already moving on to working with "Battlefield 5" after the much anticipated "Star Wars: Battlefront" was launched.

In a statement given by Dan Vanderlind of DICE, he said that since they have already launched and shipped the "Star Wars: Battlefront," he's now ready to move on to the Battlefield project with some of the team still working for Battlefront for maintenance. If Battlefield 5 is indeed happening on 2016, this will be the first time that EA will annualize the release of the game.
