The Dallas Cowboys' season has been a disaster this year. From injuries, to overtime losses, they've lost every way imaginable.

According to ESPN, Jerry Jones has officially placed quarterback Tony Romo on season-ending Injury Reserve. The Cowboys are a putrid 4-10 this season, and just 1-9 without Romo. Brandon Weeden is now with the Houston Texans, who are actually in first place in the AFC South. Matt Cassel has been absolutely terrible this season throwing far too many interceptions when it matters most. Kellen Moore is now the starter for the Cowboys for the remainder of the season.

It's the right decision for the Cowboys to put Romo on IR. He's had a collarbone injury many times in the past, and it's better that he just get prepared for next season. Romo still has four years remaining on his contract in which the Cowboys have $94 in salary cap hits invested in him left.
