Transcendence actor Johnny Depp is at the center of a murder case... but it's not quite what you think.

Back in 2009, Los Angeles limousine driver Nancy Lekon got into an argument over narcotics with 25-year-old Sonia Taunauu near Skid Row. The argument escalated, and Lekon sought revenge by allegedly mowing down Tanauu with her black 1989 Cadillac limousine.

But the action didn't stop there.

After mowing Tanauu down, Lekon continued to drag Tanauu's body underneath her limo for a mile through the Skid Row streets. By the time police officers arrived at the scene, Tanauu had died.

Lekon's lawyer plans to plead insanity in the trial scheduled for later this month, but needs the help of a certain someone to prove Lekon's mental illness. Cue johnny Depp. On the night of the murder, Lekon told police that she was on the way to meet up with her "boyfriend" Johnny Depp for a "steamy rendezvous." Since Depp has no connection to Lekon and knows nothing about her, Lekon's lawyer wants Depp to testify that Lekon is in fact delusional.

So what was Johnny's reaction to all of this? Well, he has yet to comment on the bizarre murder case.

Depp was summoned with a subpoena at none other than his Transcendence movie premiere on Thursday night in Los Angeles. Although he was served, Depp maintained his composure and was all smiles at the premiere. He also commented on his fiancee Amber Heard, who was unable to attend the premiere due to prior work engagements. He gushed about having kids with Heard in the future.

"As far as having more kids, it's easy for me, and Amber should have the opportunity to have kids if she wants," he said. "I love kids. I have two, and they're perfect. Man I'd make a hundred."
