Juan Gabriel is in the hospital again after having been admitted a week ago.

This time he says that it was just a routine check up and that everything is going well, according to TV Y Novelas.

"Nothing alarming," he said. "It was only a little check up. Everyone wants for me to be fine, and I respond by saying that everything is fine. I am fine."

He didn't give more details about his health, but he is supposed to go home on Tuesday. He will be taking a break from performing, and will make his return in May. He was initially hospitalized because of pneumonia on last Monday and released on Friday.

He was in intensive care because his lungs were filled with fluid, and he was rushed to the hospital after his three-hour concert at the Madalay Bay resort, which is part of his "Volver" tour.

It seems he continued to have respiratory problems a day after being released, so he was back at the Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center. There were reports last week that he was ready to get back to work, and he even has explained how passionate he is about music.

In the meantime, Juan Gabriel has been incredibly appreciative of his fans' support, and he has expressed his thanks through his Twitter account.

He last said, "My loves. Thanks to everyone for your messages and for your great concern. Everything is fine, and I will be resting. Soon we'll see each other."
