Kendall Jenner is the new face for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection for Mango called "Tribal Spirit." She follows after the footsteps of friend Cara Delevingne and supermodel Kate Moss as brand ambassadors.

Jenner shared a behind-the-scenes footage of her photo shoot with Mango on her Instagram page. The video showed the 20-year-old reality star getting herself ready for the photo shoot. She danced, twirled, hopped and did some boxing moves before doing several fierce-looking poses for the lenses. "Warming up for #TribalSpirit in the new @Mango Campaign #MangoGirls," Jenner captioned the video.

She also appeared in the first promotional image for "Tribal Spirit." Wearing the same off-shoulder top and pants, Jenner posed against a shadowy background with her hair tied loosely in a braid. A photo of her promotional image for Mango's Spring/Summer 2016 campaign is posted by Mirror UK.

In a statement shared by Mirror UK, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star said fronting Mango's "Tribal Spirit" collection is a great honor. She also expressed her love for the brand's clothing line..

"I am delighted to have been chosen to present the Tribal Spirit part of the collection. I love wearing the designs, fabrics and shapes - they really speak of the allure of nature which I know this collection was inspired by," she said, according to Mirror UK.

Jenner also explained the dark and broody theme of her photo shoot with Mango, adding in her statement that it was meant to highlight the colors of the garment.

"The shots we created on set reflect the natural undertones of the collection while showing really beautiful, striking pieces!" she added on her statement.

The model also acknowledged the amazing experience she had with Mango and credited the great team for the great photo shoot.

In an interview with WWD, Mango Vice President Daniel Lopez said they chose Jenner to front "Tribal Spirit" since she is "the best model to embody" the trend.

"Tribal Spirit" is the first of four themes under the Spring/Summer 2016 collection for Mango. Each theme is inspired by the African savanna with pieces consisting of fringe mini dresses and clothing with tribal prints. WWD shared a shot of Jenner wearing a black leather mini fringe dress.

Come February, March, April and May another promotional ad for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection for Mango will be revealed. Each campaign will be launched by different models.
