Things aren't looking too good for "Loyal" singer Chris Brown, who is currently the center of a slew of legal issues.

Brown's misdemeanor assault trial, which was originally scheduled for Monday, has been postponed to Wednesday after his bodyguard Chris Hollosy was found guilty for the same assault charge involving the singer.

Because of his conviction, Hollosy will no longer be able to testify as a witness in Brown's case as originally planned.

"He won't be a witness now, potentially," Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos said to the Daily News as he referred to the bodyguard's arrest with Brown after an alleged street fight with a 20-year-old Parker Adams last October.

"I'd rather have him than not have him, but I don't want Chris to languish in jail while we wait for him," he said, referring to Hollosy.

So will this put a major damper in Chris trial? Well, according to his lawyer, it wont.

"We're confident that if all the evidence gets before the judge, Chris will be acquitted," Geragos said. "Chris did not hit this guy. And if Hollosy did, it was for the defense of others."

The Washington Post also revealed that Hollosy had planned to testify that he, and only he, struck the victim, Parker Adams, 20, of Beltsville. At one of the earlier hearings, a D.C. police detective said that on the night of the altercation, Hollosy told police he was the only one who struck Adams, not Brown.

Hollosy is scheduled to be sentenced on June 25. The charge carries a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. The Washington Post claims that Hollosy and his lawyers plan to issue an appeal.
