Jordan Brand recently unveiled its newest shoe model, the Air Jordan XX9, which will reportedly arrive at retailers in September in two excellent colorways.

According to Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan XX9 will be the best basketball performance shoe this year as it was designed to provide the best support to athletes.

The 29th iteration of the successful Air Jordan line features a much-improved Flight Plate along with a performance-woven upper — the main feature of the Air Jordan XX9. The world's first performance-woven upper, which was inspired by great Italian craftsmen, provides superb support and unmatched comfort to athletes.

"In the past, we've drawn inspiration from myriad places — everything from fighter jets to motorcycles — and have ended up with some pretty fun designs along the way," said Tinker Hatfield, the designer of 17 of the 29 Air Jordan shoes. "This year, our inspiration and challenge to ourselves was to create the best performance basketball shoe ever — and I think the XX9 and the performance-woven upper pay that off."

Two editions of the shoe were recently unveiled, which will be available for $225 per pair.

The first one is the Chicago Bulls-inspired edition — the black/red-white colorway. This edition sports a black upper with red lining and white logos along with the popular elephant print.

The second edition features a black-based upper part along with team orange Jumpman and "23" logo, which are bigger in size compared to previous releases. According to reports, this edition was made for Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook.

Aside from the Air Jordan XX9, Jordan Brand also announced the release of two excellent shoes: the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low and the Jordan 6-17-23.

The AJ 11 Retro Low will be released in "Concord" edition, which is officially listed as the white/black-dark concord colorway. This retro sneaker features white-based upper part with a back patent leather on top of a white midsole and translucent outsole.

The Jordan 6-17-23 will also come out in "Concord" edition, but this one sports a purple-based nubuck upper part along with platinum, black and white accents.

The AJ 11 Retro Low and Jordan 6-17-23 Concord will be released on May 3 and will sell at $150 per pair.
