Cuban-American actor William Levy is extending his film career, and his latest role includes acting alongside Vince Vaughn in "Term Life."

The Focus World film, which stars Vaughn, Hailee Steinfeld, Terrence Howard, Jon Favreau and Taraji P. Henson, is a based on a graphic novel of the same name by A. J. Lieberman.

The film follows a thief who stages a heist that goes bad and must then protect his daughter from the mob bosses and dirty cops hunting him down.

Levy plays the role of Alejandro, the son of a drug cartel leader, who is part of a team of thieves ambushed after a successful heist orchestrated by Vaughn's character.

The film is set to be released in theaters on April 8.

Levy has a few other films lined up. The 35-year-old actor stars in "The Veil," which also stars "Graceland" star Serinda Swan and "The Royals" star William Moseley and marks the acting debut of his son Christopher Levy, who plays a young version of Levy's character.

The actor shared photos of his son in costume on social media and expressed how proud he was of the 9-year-old's work ethic, which required working late nights.

The actor will also be starring in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," along with Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Iain Glen, Ruby Rose, Wentworth Miller and Li Bingbing.

The sixth installment of the apocalyptic film franchise is set to be released on Jan. 27, 2017.

While filming in South Africa, Levy shared several photos with his co-stars, including Jovovich and Larter, from the film's set on Instagram.
