Being a mother is one of the toughest jobs in the world. That's why most of the time soon-to-be moms end up clueless about how to perfectly do this "special job." That's what urged Martha Debayle to start her own multimedia empire. The BBMundo, or Baby World when translated, became the answer to her frustration when she experienced the stress of being a mother for the first time for herself.

BBMundo's history has started 16 years ago, when Martha Debayle had her first baby. According to America's Quarterly, that moment she really felt clueless about the phase of her life she's into. She asked and researched for some information but unfortunately there's none that's perfect for her needs. When she searched the media, all she found were "clichés and patronizing language." That moment she became amazed of how other parents have struggled so much just to raise their little ones on their own.

Through her experience she realized that Mexican women needed someone to advise them especially with regards to rearing children and in taking care of her family life. There she had an idea to turn her frustration into something that could benefit other people too especially first time moms.

Within a few weeks after she launched her online site, her webpage garnered around 40,000 visitors. The site offered variety of services perfect for future moms like BBNombres (for baby names and their origins), BBDudas (frequently asked questions), BBPensamientos (where individuals can share their thoughts and experiences), BBChats (a means to exchange information and advices online), BBRecetas (for recipes perfect for babies and nursing moms) and BBDirectorio (a directory of businesses). The site also has interactive tools that can help users tailor information they need which include height and weight tables, diaper calculators and vaccination calendars.

"Inspired by love, guided by knowledge," DeBayle's BBMundo's website is already accessible Spain, The U.S. and different countries of Latin America. Most of the site's users are women ages 18 to 44 and majority of them are from Mexico City. It has over 60 clients, including Disney, Sanofi and Froot Loops.

The brand has also extended its horizon and is now available in print publication, iPad application and radio talk show. In fact, Revista BBMundo, its monthly magazine, already has 40,000 subscribers, while "Martha DeBayle en W," her radio program, has almost 600,000 listeners.

"We did not want to become a marketing site but rather one in which women could become better mothers," Martha DeBayle shared through an e-book
