All eyes are on the Houston Texans with less than a week to go before the start of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Houston currently has possession of the number one overall pick in the draft but it remains unclear whether or not the team will opt to keep the pick or trade it away. Many experts, including draft guru Mel Kiper Jr., are predicting that the Texans will keep the pick and draft Jadeveon Clowney.

The squad's general manager, Rick Smith, said this week that he knows which player he would draft with the top pick but still does not want to reveal whether or not the team actually plans to keep the pick.

"I know the order of our board. If we select first, it's a unique opportunity to be the first pick," he said, according to ESPN. "If we do select there, I know who we feel good about there. If we move, then obviously there are variables that come into play at that point."

Interestingly enough, an ESPN Sports Nation poll indicates that 59 percent of fans expect the Texans to draft Clowney with the top pick. More than 96,000 voters have participated in the poll so far.

"Now where the game is played is if there's an opportunity to move and, in this case, obviously to move back if somebody else wants to come up to that first pick," Smith added, according to NFL.com. "Then you weigh what the opportunities are versus who the individual is that you want to take and what that value is relative to the value that somebody might be offering you."
