The Razer Blade Stealth (QHD) has a short battery life for a gaming laptop.

For those who value portability and light-weightedness in a gaming laptop, the Razer Blade Stealth (QHD) certainly fits the criteria. It is only 0.52" in width and can easily be carried anywhere at 2.75lbs. However, it has a short battery life for a gaming laptop. It is encased in an anodized black body with Razer's signature logo.

According to PC Mag, the 13-inch Apple MacBook has a longer battery life compared to the Razer Blade Stealth (QHD). However, when it comes to screen resolution, it is ultimately better and has been deemed similar to the more expensive and higher-end Razer Blade Stealth (4K UHD).

Additionally, the mid-range Stealth (QHD) only has a screen resolution of 2,560-by-1,440 pixels compared to the 4K's 3,840-by-2,160 display. However, the QHD is ultimately better compared to the MacBook Air, which had a resolution below 1080p.

At its retail price of $1399.00, you would expect to be able to play any kind of game as it is purported to be a gaming laptop. Another setback is that you can't play high-end games on it because it does not have the Razer Core external GPU. The external GPU dock is scheduled to arrive later this year.

According to Digital Trends, Stealth (QHD) has an Intel Core i7-6500U, a dual-core chip with a 2.5GHz base clock, 3.1GHz Boost clock and houses an 8GB RAM and 256GB PCIe SSD, which can be extended up to 512GB. For ports, the outlet adds that there are only two USB 3.1 ports (Thunderbolt 3 and 3.5mm) on each side of the laptop. It does have a full HDMI port on the right side of it.

Since it is a portable gaming laptop, the keyboard and trackpads are normal-looking with the latter going buttonless. However, Engadget notes that when using the keyboards, it is considered "too stiff," especially when it is used for playing. The keyboard lights up and it is the much speculated Chroma where Razer put in the backlights on the individual keys.

According to Razer, the Chroma offers "16.8 million colors per key." With this, the "anti-ghosting keyboard registers simultaneous key presses with precision, providing a quick and comfortable typing experience." The Razer Synapse will also allow users to customize keys, macros and lighting effects. Other Chroma-enabled devices can also be synced with it.
