Mexican singer Juan Gabriel has landed in the hospital once again.

The 64-year-old crooner has faced many health problems in the last few weeks, and a radio show said he was admitted because of hypertension. He couldn't breathe and was feeling dizzy when he was taken to the Southern Hill Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, said El Popular.

"Carefully following medical advice and doing the recommended exercises, [Juan Gabriel] has seen favorable progress, slowly but surely," said a press release on his official website. "Juan Gabriel has expressed on various occasions his infinite appreciation to all his followers, friends, family and members of the press for the overwhelming number of messages received. His famous phrase ‘Eternally Grateful' has taken on a special meaning during this process. Juan Gabriel is in good spirits and optimistic, reading thousands of messages from fans on social media networks and he waits for the green light to be able to return to the stage stronger than ever..."

The last time he was hospitalized, reports said Juan Gabriel was able to go home but that he still had to go to the hospital constantly to get treatment.

While he has been resting, he has kept somewhat busy.

As the press release mentioned, he does read comments on Twitter and has been retweeting others' kind words.

His last message on Twitter says: "Reading so many beautiful messages, one can't be more grateful. From the upbeat commentary to the wise advice. To everyone thank you."

He also released a new album, "Mis 40 En Bellas Artes," which celebrates his 40 years of work. The album has 29 songs, including "El Noa Noa," "Siempre en mi Mente," and "No Tengo Dinero." He started his career when he was 21 years old in 1971.
