Usain Bolt Ahead of Rio 2016 Olympic Games

Jamaican officials gave Usain Bolt a medical exemption to compete in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games after pulling a hamstring in Jamaica’s Olympic trials.

Bolt’s rival, American champion Justin Gatlin, called it a “medical pass” fueling more heat between the two.

“I think they have not learned over the years that the more you talk, the more I will want to beat you,” Bolt tells The Guardian. “It’s one of those things but I’m looking forward to it, should be exciting and they will feel my full wrath as always.”

Usain Bolt Record

Usain Bolt is a six-time gold medal champion. In the past two Olympic Games, the Jamaican champion won the 100m, 200m and 4x100m Men’s Track & Field competition.

The world knows Bolt as being the “fastest man.” And the world’s fastest man is ready for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

“I’m feeling much more confident now. I’m much more comfortable with where I’m at,” the champion said.

Bolt has a world record of 9.58 in the 100m. In the last world championships in Beijing, China, the Jamaican champion made 9.79, winning his third world championship.
