As the fastest man in the world continues to beat records in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, fans are also wondering if he has a girlfriend to share the glory with him.

Is Usain Bolt Single?

It is not clear if the world’s fastest man is completely single, but he is definitely not married. If he has a girlfriend, they are doing well with keeping the secret.

His mom, Jennifer Bolt, told CNN’s Don Riddell in a segment that she wants her son to settle down and have children after the 2016 Rio Olympics are over.

Does that mean he has a girlfriend that his mom wants him to hurry up and marry so she can meet her grandkids soon? Or is he still looking for that special someone?

“I know he’ll settle down because he said it. He told me many times that he’s going to start his family,” she said.

Usain Wants to Get Married Within 5 Years

Bolt says he wants to get married before he turns 35 years old. He will celebrate his 30th birthday on Aug. 21.

Mama Bolt, you have five more years to see your wishes come true! For now, he wants to enjoy his fame.

“It’s hard for you to stay with one woman because girls are literally just throwing themselves at you,” Bolt told The Telegraph in July. “You get famous, and there’s so much pressure of girls wanting you.”

When will he find that special someone?

Usain Bolt’s Religion

Olympian Bolt could possibly be Christian.

At the start of every race, he makes the sign of the cross and blows a kiss up to God. Catholics are usually seen making the sign of the cross when they are praying.

In Jamaica, 64 percent of the population is Christian. Of that total, 62 percent are Protestant and the other 2 percent are Roman Catholic.

One thing is for sure, he is not an atheist. Bolt is often posting comments on his Facebook Page about how “blessed” he is. Religious people are more inclined to say they are “blessed,” whereas other may call it “luck” or something else because they do not believe in God.

Usain Bolt Relationship and Religion

Right now the fastest man in the world is continuing his relationship with God. His goal is to complete a “triple-triple” so he has a lot of work and praying to do in order to get there.

Hopefully he will settle down soon like his mother wishes.
