The zombie thriller flick from South Korea, "Train to Busan", took the world by storm with its heart-rending action and tear-jerking emotional scenes. Not getting enough, fans are clamoring for "Train to Busan 2" and some rumors from the production studio are coming up.

According to Health Aim, the movie made $88,146,403 worldwide as of September 7. With all the positive feedback it has received, even Gong Yoo, who plays the lead actor in the film, has tried to persuade the producers to make "Train to Busan 2."

"I talked about this with director Yeon Sang-Ho," Gong said. "I said that I thought my character Seok-Woo might be living somewhere as a zombie, but director Yeon said that when Seok-Woo fell off the train, he broke his neck and died."

Despite the stubbornness of the studio, some producers from the US and France are putting forward their interest in a sequel; these studios include Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox.

In addition, some rumors from iTech Post say that popular Korean actor Lee Min Ho will replace Gong Yoo as lead actor on "Train to Busan 2" and Song Joong Ki, from "Descendants of the Sun" fame will be his co-star.

Since the producer for "Descendants of the Sun" and "Train to Busan" is the same, it is highly speculated that Joong Ki will also be playing the role of a military man, similar to his "Descendants" role.

Another fan favorite during the movie was Ma Dong Seok's character Sang Hwa, who bravely held back the zombies to allow Gong Yoo's character and his daughter to escape, sacrificing his life in the process.

However, many fans insist that since he was not seen being eaten by zombies, he could still be alive, or that he could come back as a zombie with consciousness, bent on finding his wife Yu-mi, and their unborn daughter.

Whether these rumors are true or not remain to be seen; however, "Train to Busan 2" is definitely going to be as star-studded with the most popular Korean actors of this decade.
