Nobody wants to do someone else's dirty work, unless it's for Emmy and Golden Globe winner Bryan Cranston — and you're helping to save the planet from radioactive monsters.

In "Godzilla," Aaron-Taylor Johnson plays Lieutenant Ford Brody, who is on his way to his wife (played by Elizabeth Olsen) until he is literally derailed by a radioactive monster who destroys his airport tram, leading to mayhem and destruction.

His father is played by Cranston, who dedicates his life to revealing "the mysterious source of a series of electromagnetic disturbances."

After the New York City screening of "Godzilla," the adorable British actor got a little cheeky with the press during a roundtable discussion, admitting that he basically had to carry the torch for Cranston.

"He [Cranston] ends up sort of passing the bat on to me really, and then I finish off his dirty work," he joked.

"It's a beautiful moment in which my character by that point understands,  and it all comes together that family is the most important in the world. I think that always becomes clearer in a natural disaster, everyone's in chaos, and if you were to die tomorrow what would it be all about?"

Taylor-Johnson praised the Tony Award-nominated Cranston for his ability to improvise, given his amazing performance in "Breaking Bad." He also admitted that, while their screentime is brief, he got emotional watching scenes between Cranston and Juliette Binochet (who plays his mother) at the beginning of the film.

"He brought a lot to his role," Taylor-Johnson added.

The handsome Taylor-Johnson, who starred in "Kick-Ass" and "Anna Karenina," recently appeared on the cover of the May issue of Men's Health. His good looks and acting skills also landed him a role in the highly anticipated erotic film "Fifty Shades of Grey," according to International Business Times.

During the "Godzilla" premiere in Hollywood, Taylor-Johnson's wife Sam Taylor-Wood, who also happens to be the director of "Fifty Shades of Grey," revealed to Access Hollywood that her actor-husband will be playing a part in the film.

In 2012, Wood, 47, and Johnson, 23, married and the happy couple has four daughters.

So why didn't Wood didn't cast her hubby as the steamy Christian Grey, one of the main characters in "Fifty Shades of Grey?"

"I think ['Fifty Shades'] would have been the wrong kind of hype to bring towards us," he told Nylon magazine in the May 2014 issue, IBT reports. "It would have been kind of funny that this character that all these women fancy — he's one in a million —and my wife picks her husband to play the part?"

Jamie Dornan will play the role of Grey, and Dakota Johnson will play Anastasia Steele in the film.

New York-born Dominican actor Victor Rasuk, who also stars in "Godzilla," will play Steele's best friend, Jose.

"Fifty Shades of Grey," which is based on the novel of the same name by E.L. James, is set for a February 2015 release. "Godzilla" hits theaters Friday, May 16.
