The NBA trade rumors are still revolving around the New York Knicks, and it seems like Joakim Noah is in the limelight for a trade. It seems like the Minnesota Timberwolves has shown some interest in Joakim and he might be on his way to play for the wolves.

It was only last summer that Joakim signed up with the Knicks and things are not going the way he expected because of his jaded performance this season. Unlike his performance with Chicago Bulls last season, he is averaging at 3.9 points, 0.9 blocks and 7.9 rebounds in all the 16 games he has played in, Headlines and Global News reported.

On the other hand, the Philadelphia 76ers center Nerlens Noel has also been on the NBA trade rumors list. The deal is believed to involve Jahlil Okafor and for this the perfect trade partner is said to be the Minnesota Timberwolves, Sports Rageous reported.

The Timberwolves have been in NBA trade rumors for most of 2016 off season and this appears to be because of their point guard rotation. One more NBA superstar on the trade list is Ricky Rubio, and the Philadelphia 76ers are believed to receive Rubio from the wolves.

With the Timberwolves being one of the upcoming teams in the Western Conference Noel could turn out to be their future base in the frontcourt. Derrick Rose and Camelo Anthony are always there to develop Noel just in case he lacks the experience.

The trade might not be possible as of now because it will not fall under the NBA trade rules as it is violating the trade policy. The rumor also states that it all depends on Joakim and his availability to be traded, since he has signed a four year deal with the New York Knicks for $72.5 million.
