While fans are starting to get anxious whether Dylan O'Brien will be reprising his titular role in the third installment of "The Maze Runner" after a serious injury that the actor has suffered into earlier this year on the set, he will reportedly resume filming his remaining scenes.

The production of "The Maze Runner: Death Cure" has been temporarily stopped last March to give time for the recovery of Dylan O'Brien. The actor reportedly fractured his cheekbone and orbital socket when he fell off a train, reported HNGN.

O'Brien was immediately transferred to a hospital after the accident. A statement from the producer of "Maze Runner" got fans worried over the actor's real condition: "It was more than disconcerting. I never saw him in his worst from, but it was described to me. It was really scary. He came close to dying, I'm pretty sure."

No need to worry now, however, because Dylan O'Brien was just recently spotted shooting "American Assassin" in Rome, as per GamenGuide. O'Brien being back on the field only means that the recovery of the actor went well.

Although there are speculations that O'Brien will be leaving "Teen Wolf" to focus on "The Maze Runner: Death Cure," the time is still not ripe to tell as fans are quite hoping that the actor will not leave the series. The recovered actor will soon be seen embarking into another epic and death-defying runs inside the maze.

The third installment of the franchise will follow protagonist Thomas and his surviving Glader friends fight their way off WCKD to find a cure for a deadly disease.

Dylan O'Brien is yet to comment on his recovery but "The Maze Runner: Death Cure" is scheduled to hit theaters in January 2018. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
