Samsung has just released their new mobile accessory. The new Samsung Gear IconX - a wireless earbuds perfect for your workouts.

If you want truly wire-free earbuds with good sound, 4GB of storage for music files, and heart-rate sensors for your exercise this new product is perfect for you.

We got all the specs from Samsung - this cord-free earbuds has a Fitnesstracker. Without even using your Samsung phone, Gear IconX can play the music for you. While you're walking or running, this device can track all your workout needs. It has also a Heart rate monitor: intended for fitness purposes - a tracker. Its casing also serves as a charger.

The device is the smallest music player. With 4GB of internal memory that holds up to 1,000 tracks. Another way to keep the beat going is via Bluetooth streaming, so you're never left stranded without those training motivation songs.

You can also track your stats, by syncing your smartphones with the device after every workout; you can check your stats and monitor progress on the S Health app.

Control with a touch. Tap and hold to hear voice prompts guide you through Gear IconX's functions from playing music and taking or rejecting calls to turning on the ambient sound mode. When you hear the function you need, lift your finger to activate it.

According to TechRadar, the device is compatible with devices that run Android 4.4 KitKat and above, and have a minimum of 1.5GB RAM. Galaxy phones users can transfer music files to Gear IconX either from the Galaxy phone or a PC via USB connectors or USB cables (not applicable to some Galaxy phones). Non-Galaxy Android phone users can transfer music files to Gear IconX from a PC via USB cable.

According to a review in PCWorld, the cons of Samsung Gear Icon X's controller are not really accurate and annoying. The battery life is also alarmingly short and falls short of claims. Heart rate data only appears on Samsung phones.
