Lenovo is planning to release thin and light design fascinating new tablet Yoga Book. The most innovative 2-in-1 Yoga Book that runs Chrome OS can release sometime next year.

According to The Verge, Lenovo confirmed the plans for Chrome OS variant of the tablet. This Chrome OS could be a good product for the school students.

Two version of the Yoga Book is already available on the market: one running Windows 10 and another running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Though Lenovo's existing flexibility on software make sense that it will be willing to try out a Chrome OS option, too.

According to Laptop Mag, Lenovo VP Jeff Meredith confirmed at Tom's Guide Innovation Award that Lenovo will be offering a third variant of the Yoga Book running Chrome OS next year.

The new Yoga Book will also have Real Pen work on the Android version of the Yoga Book. Users are able to take notes on either a paper pad or use the pen directly on the bottom half of the Yoga Book. The pen offers 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity.

For sales, however, the Yoga Book has been exclusively available at Wal-Mart at the time of brick-and-mortar sales. Lenovo will be expanding to other partners in 2017.

According to Meredith, VP of Lenovo, Yoga Book has been hot in some places. China, Germany, and Japan have been a bright spot but sales in the US are "just average".

"Over time, we probably see the Android and Chrome versions melting together. We'll probably maintain the three distinctive products throughout this year at least", reported by Meredith.

However, the fixed time was not given for the Chrome OS version's release. Though, Laptop Marg confirmed that Lenovo plans to maintain three Yoga Book versions throughout 2016.

To improve Yoga Book's software, Lenovo is also building a team of well over 100 people to enhance the user experience on this and other devices.
