Have you ever been watching a movie or a television show, and in the middle of an awesome action scene, you realize that the grizzled hero slamming his foe's face into the pavement was the same actor who played that nerdy teenager who got stuffed in a locker in a high school sitcom a decade ago?

If you have (and who hasn't?) then you know it can be an incredibly jarring but also fulfilling moment. As viewers we get so tied in to the world on screen that we forget that the people portraying these characters have other histories as well. And some of these histories are hilarious.

BuzzFeed Pop has put together a video full of these moments, taking the cast of "Game of Thrones" and revealing their past roles.

The first clip may be one of the funniest as you learn that the badass swordsman Bronn was also one half of the UK pop duo, Robson and Jerome (which you may know for their hit cover song, "Up on the Roof").

We also learn that The Hound once advertised Scott's Porridge Oats while wearing a kilt, Robert Barratheon starred in the live adaptation of the "Flintstones" as Fred himself, Dothraki warrior Khal Drogo was a lifeguard in" Baywatch Hawaii," and Tywin Lannister got a 'nipple cripple' from Ali G.

"Harry Potter" fans may have already noticed that Catelyn Stark had a cameo in "Deathly Hallows" as Hermione's mother, and Osha appeared as Lupin's lover Tonks. The teen sociopath Joffrey was once far more innocent as a little boy in "Batman Begins," and Grand Maester Pycelle once served a different ruler: "Star Wars" villain Darth Vader.
