Adonis Losada was sentenced on child porn charges last week.

Losada told the judge that he knew his actions were wrong and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He could have faced more time. He was only charged on four counts, as 62 of the 66 were tossed out, said the Sun Sentinel.

Before the majority of charges were tossed out, he faced between 47 and 330 years in prison. The reason most of the charges had to be thrown out was because the law required that he was only charged for accessing and transmitting the images, and not for the number of images he had.

"The language of the statute emphasizes the use of the computer and not the number of images," said Judge Karen Miller.

Losada has already serve 4 ½ years.

He played Doña Concha on "Sabado Gigante," the variety show that airs on Saturdays on Univision.

In 2009, he was arrested after chatting with an undercover police detective from Boynton Beach. The chat room was for people interested in having sex with children. He was caught twice with images and he transmitted images twice.

Gregory Schiller, the Assistant State Attorney, asked for a 20-year maximum. Under the new guidelines he could serve anytime between 27 months and 20 years.

Losada refused being appointed a lawyer. He was uncooperative and when he was given a chance to speak, he talked about having constitutional rights.

Schiller expressed his disappointment with the outcome.

"I don't think any time less than the maximum -- I don't think any probationary period is going to rehabilitate Mr. Losada," Schiller said. "In all my years of doing these kinds of cases, I've never seen images [of children] this young, or so horrible and heinous."

After being arrested, Miami-Dade officers went to his house and found thousands of pornographic images, which means he could be facing more jail time.
