CBS crime based drama series "Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 14 returns with a suspense-driven chapter. In an all-new episode, the team gathers evidence to unravel the murder mystery and along with that, Spencer Reid is embroiled in a new dilemma. 

According to the CBS synopsis, the BAU investigates the causes of car crashes involving drivers and pedestrians. Meanwhile, Spencer (Matthew Gray Gubler) faces a new predicament. Spencer had already faced personal life's woes and it seems as if plenty more challenges await him. 

In "Criminal Minds" Season 12 episode titled as 'Spencer,' he was accused of murder after illegally transacting with a woman who was found dead later. Although Spencer's innocence is obvious, further episodes will reveal whether he will plead guilty or not. According to TV guide, showrunner Erica Messer claimed that Spencer had no choice, but to go on a trial. 

In "Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 14 titled as 'Collision Course' Prentiss decides to offer legal assistance to Spencer. She decided to stay put whereas the BAU hunts for the two drivers that claimed to have lost control while driving. While Spencer was denied legal help from the agency, Prentiss' old time friend Fiona Duncan steps in to extend her legal services. However, based on her observation, the case appeared bad and she wasn't sure if Spencer is innocent, reports TV Fanatic

The predicament grew when Spencer's blood and fingerprints were observed on the murder weapon. Based on this, his lawyer wanted him to plead guilty as Spencer would be merely serving two to five years in prison. Spencer, however, was no in accordance and wanted to prove his innocence. The judge, in conclusion, denied him bail as the state couldn't trust his actions.

Meanwhile, the BAU reaches to a conclusion where brunettes seem to be Unsub's main targets. The vehicles were being used for murder because it reminded the killer of the person he wanted dead. "Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 15 titled as' Alpha Male' is slated to air on March. 1.
