Walt Disney's "Beauty and the Beast", the animated fairytale is now on a live-action fairytale adaption that will be hit in theaters nationwide on March 17, 2017. Though Walt Disney has already given a live-action version from animated films, "Beauty in the Beast" will like the riskiest of them all so far, as the potential backlash is concerned.

According to Forbes, the "Beauty and the Beast" is a celebrity cover band version of the animated movie that is intended to bring a nostalgia and cross-generational interest. A new subplot that explains the details on what happened to Belle's mother and Gaston gets more scenes with Belle's dad.

"Beauty and the Beast" are expertly cast and Emma Watson as the title character brings her innate intelligent, thoughtful nature as Belle. While, Dan Stevens as a charmless Beast which brings the right bitter, yet soulful feel to the Beast, and Gaston as much more interesting while pushing Beast himself into a narrative corner.

As indicated by IGN, there are other expansions and tweaks from the animated film, which both Belle and Beast's parents and how it helped to shape those two matching spirits. In this film, Belle is much more engaged when she is fending off Gascon (Luke Evans) or a talk with her father (Kevin Kline).

As for the musical numbers, the cast did a great job, with Condon proves that it was an excellent choice to guide the film. The "Beauty and the Beast" are magnificent to look at and the musical number are dynamic and involving with many echoes just like the animated film.

But there are small changes beyond the visuals and the lyrics themselves, as this film makes a few lines that are written by the late Howard Ashman for the "Beauty and the Beast"  that was not used at that time. In general, all actors do a solid to excellent work on the singing side, as Watson, the one with have the least musical theater background.
