Last Monday, Verizon launched a new payment plan, named FiOS Prepaid, a fiber optic data that does not require any subscription of any kind. FiOS Prepaid is the first triple-play prepaid option from Verizon, which gives those who cannot get the standard service with less restrictions.

According to Engadget, the FiOS service is said to be available anywhere with a regular FiOS plans but not yet available in nationwide. It is only available in selected markets along the East Coast. The prepaid service will come with benefits that will apply to certain users.

The FiOS Prepaid service will give the users a 25Mbps Internet service at $60 a month that includes a Wi-Fi router. Users who want more can also have a choice of adding on 'Custom' TV with 155 or more channels with an included set-to-box for $40- $50 a month.

Slash Gear added that the FiOS service also offers a 'Mundo' TV option that includes a 35 HD Spanish-language stations plus 200 channels for about $40 a month or a basic phone service that will cost $10 a month. The users can also purchase the three services for $100-$120 per month, which includes a data and TV for $100-$110, or a data and voice for $70. There is also an installation fee that will cost $90.

FiOS Prepaid will let the customers experience its difference of Verizon's 100 percent fiber optic network, with outstanding entertainment options with a flexibility and control. The new choices will let the customers better plan their expenses, as the new FiOS Prepaid service eliminates its monthly unexpected charges every month.

The FiOS Prepaid also offers a high-speed Internet with upload speeds as fast as download speeds, and a crystal-clear TV service with no yearly contract or even a deposit or credit check required. The FiOS Prepaid is available to the following selected areas including, New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Rode Island, Delaware, the DC Metro and around Boston.
